My Approach to Health Coaching

Before we get into my approach, let’s start at the top. I’m sure you’ve seen a bunch of “health coaches” on the gram, but what does it actually mean to be a health coach?

Health Coaching 101

Health Coaches are wellness experts and mentors who help others feel their best through personalized diet and lifestyle changes. We take a holistic approach to wellness by looking at not only what you eat, but all other areas of your life as well, such as sleep, spirituality, career, relationships and more. Health Coaches work with clients to help them discover the best routines that work for them and empower them to meet their unique health goals. Each approach is tailored to the individual - what works for one person, does not mean it works for everyone.

Health Coaches have a lot in common with life coaches, career coaches and even athletic coaches. Like other coaches, we approach coaching as a relationship. All coaches help clients reach their full potential by raising awareness, making connections, identifying patterns, and working to shift limiting beliefs. The key difference here is that Health Coaches focus specifically on health and wellbeing.

We are partners throughout a client’s health journey - we want you to take the lead on your own health, but are here to support you. Nobody knows you better than YOU, but we are here to provide a safe space for you, serve as guides and keep you accountable.

My Approach

I am a certified Nutritious Life and Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) holistic health coach. I am also currently enrolled in IIN’s hormone health course (I am almost done!)

I believe wellness is about more than what's on your plate and that joy, connection and sense of purpose are just as important as feeding and moving your body. As a certified holistic health coach, I help busy professionals who are burnt out find more balance by empowering them to reconnect with what brings them joy and to prioritize their health and wellbeing.

My approach to coaching means starting from the inside out. That means: I don't just want to know what you eat for breakfast. I want to know what you dream about, where your happy place is and where you're feeling stuck. Together, we'll focus on practical tools and steps to help you set boundaries, make time for yourself and feel more joyful in your life.

I am currently working on my signature program from ‘Burnout to Balance.’ If you are ready to:

NOTE: I will tailor this program based on what we discuss during your health history. If something isn’t applicable, we can scrap it, if you need something that is not here, I will include it. My sessions will be customized to the individual and we will work together to collaborate on your goals.
