Quick Tips / Key Learnings:

Work with a claims adjuster – If you're dealing with insurance, having a professional on your side makes all the difference. (Long Island friends, I have a great rec - message me!)

Pick timeless over trendy – It’s easy to get caught up in design trends, but classic finishes will age beautifully.

Order materials early – Delays will happen. If you can, get everything ordered in advance so you’re not stuck waiting mid-reno.

Think about function, not just aesthetics – Storage, lighting, and easy-to-clean surfaces make daily life so much smoother.

Work with a contractor you trust – A great contractor makes all the difference in keeping things on track and stress-free (or at least as stress-free as possible!).
